Hi, there! I'm Lukas Mach, a software developer from Prague. However, I am not:

  • Lukas Mach, the football player,
  • Prof Lukas Mach, the biologist based in Austria,
  • Lukas Mach, the underwear model.

Those are (to the best of my knowledge mutually) different individuals. People are often mistakenly writing me messages in hopes of reaching one of those gentlemen (especially the underwear model) and, sadly, I have to let them down.

Below is an approximation of my activities:

  • Some of my research papers are on arXive.
  • My PhD thesis on Parameterized Complexity
  • In the past, I've lead the following recitation sessions at Warwick University and Charles University in Prague:
    • 2015/2016: Diskrétní matematika (MFF UK – matematika, pondělí),
    • 2015/2016: Diskrétní matematika (MFF UK – matematika, středa),
    • 2014/2015: Algorithm design (University of Warwick),
    • 2013/2014: Algorithm design (University of Warwick),
    • 2013/2014: Data Structures and Algorithms (University of Warwick),
    • 2012/2013: Discrete Mathematics and its Applications 2 (University of Warwick),
    • 2012/2013: Data Structures and Algorithms (University of Warwick),
    • 2012/2013: Discrete Mathematics and its Applications 1 (University of Warwick),
    • 2011/2012: Algoritmy a datové struktury I (MFF UK – informatika),
    • 2011/2012: Diskrétní matematiky (MFF UK – matematika),
    • 2010/2011: Diskrétní matematika (MFF UK – matematika),
    • 2010/2011: Programování I (MFF UK – informatika),
    • 2009/2010: Kombinatorika a grafy I (MFF UK – informatika),
    • 2009/2010: Diskrétní matematika (MFF UK – informatika),
    • 2008/2009: Kombinatorika a grafy I (MFF UK – informatika).
  • I've written some open-source code in my life; some examples can be seen in action on youtube.
  • I've written software to aid the process of digitization of Langweil mode of Prague, a famous paper model of the city from 19th century. A web presentation can be viewed at langweil.cz but it's best to come to The Museum of the City of Prague to see it in person.
  • Some photos.
  • I wrote code for our robot competing in EUROBOT.
  • MASO is a nice math competition for kids.
