Oznámení o vypnutí serveru

Vážení uživatelé,

z technických důvodů bude server Artax zanedlouho úplně odstaven (vypnut). Plánovaný termín vypnutí je konec září října 2021.

Náhrada za služby, které server Artax poskytuje, je následující:

1. Pro uživatele, kteří stále mají studijní nebo zaměstnanecký vztah k MFF UK (studenti, doktorandi, zaměstnanci):
   • E-mail:
     • schránku je možné mít na jiném serveru matematické sekce
     • je možné nastavit přesměrování z adresy login@artax.karlin.mff.cuni.cz na jinou e-mailovou adresu
   • Webové stránky:
     • stránky (včetně PHP, SQL) je možné přesunout na jiný server matematické sekce
     • je možné nastavit přesměrování příslušných URL (aby staré odkazy stále fungovaly)
   • SSH a ukládání dat:
     • k obojímu je možné využít jiné servery matematické sekce
2. Pro uživatele, kteří už nemají formální vztah k MFF UK (absolventi):
   • E-mail:
     • je možné nastavit přesměrování z adresy login@artax.karlin.mff.cuni.cz na jinou e-mailovou adresu
   • Webové stránky:
     • je možné nastavit přesměrování příslušných URL (aby staré odkazy stále fungovaly)
   • SSH a ukládání dat:
     • (bez náhrady)

Pokud máte zájem o pomoc s přesunem e-mailů nebo webových stránek (včetně PHP, SQL) na jiný server matematické sekce nebo máte zájem o nastavení přesměrování (e-mailové adresy, URL adres webových stránek) nebo pokud máte jakýkoliv dotaz, napište na martin.trcka@mff.cuni.cz.

Server shutdown notification

Dear users,

For technical reasons, the Artax server will soon be completely shut down. The planned shutdown date is end of September October 2021.

The compensation for the services provided by the Artax server is as follows:

1. For users who still have a study or employment relationship with MFF UK (students, PhD students, staff):
   • E-mail:
     • the mailbox can be on another server of the mathematics section
     • it is possible to set up a redirection from the address login@artax.karlin.mff.cuni.cz to another e-mail address
   • Website:
     • websites (including PHP, SQL) can be moved to another math section server
     • it is possible to set up redirection of relevant URLs (so that old links still work)
   • SSH and data storage:
     • it is possible to use other math section servers for both
2. For users who are no longer formally affiliated with MFF UK (alumni):
   • E-mail:
     • it is possible to set up a redirect from login@artax.karlin.mff.cuni.cz to another e-mail address
   • Website:
     • it is possible to set up redirection of the relevant URLs (so that the old links still work)
   • SSH and data storage:
     • (without compensation)

If you are interested in help with moving emails or web pages (including PHP, SQL) to another math section server, or if you are interested in setting up redirects (email addresses, website URLs) or if you have any questions, please email martin.trcka@mff.cuni.cz.
